Fresh off a win in the rain-shortened Six Hours of Fuji, the Japanese manufacturer will again field the No. 7 TS030 Hybrid for drivers Alex Wurz and Nicolas Lapierre. Kaz Nakajima will be on Super Formula duties that weekend.
Nine cars are set for LMP2, including a number of revised driver lineups.
Robbie Kerr rejoins the No. 25 G-Drive Racing by Delta-ADR Oreca 03 Nissan, while Asian Le Mans Series regular David Cheng will join Jacques Nicolet and Keiko Ihara in the No. 45 OAK Racing Morgan-Nissan.
After running under the Gainer International banner in Fuji, the Greaves Motorsport Zytek Z11SN Nissan will see team regulars Tom Kimber-Smith and Eric Lux be joined by Russian Nissan GT Academy winner Mark Shulzhitckiy, who will be making his prototype debut.
Both GTE-Pro and GTE-Am remains unchanged, although Aston Martin Racing has yet to confirm its full lineup for its Nos. 97 and 99 entries.
Rolad Goethe, meanwhile, is set to return to the GTE-Am championship-leading No. 96 Aston Martin entry with Jamie Campbell-Walter and Stuart Hall.
The Six Hours of Shanghai is set for November 8-9.
